The call for the MINES.B Thesis Award will close on September 1st.

The competition forms part of the cultural, scientific and educational promotion activities of the MINES.B Federation and aims to encourage academic research on topics related to mining history, industrial heritage, extractive landscapes, mining communities and territorial regeneration processes, with particular attention to the European and transnational dimension.

Interested students can send their applications to the following e-mail address no later than September 12th, 2026:

Applicants who have sent the email are required to attend an online interview on Wednesday 16th 2026, in one of the following time slots:
11:30-13:00 or 14:00-16:00.
Only the students who submitted their application by the deadline of 12 September may attend the interview.

Il servizio nasce per offrire uno spazio di confronto strutturato a coloro che sentono la necessità di riflettere sul proprio percorso universitario e sulle difficoltà eventualmente emerse durante gli studi. In particolare, si rivolge a studentesse e studenti che:

• nutrono dubbi rispetto alla scelta del corso di studi o al proseguimento del percorso universitario;
• stanno vivendo una fase di stasi o disorientamento;
• desiderano ridefinire i propri obiettivi formativi e professionali in modo più coerente con esigenze, valori e aspirazioni personali.

I colloqui di ri-orientamento non costituiscono un servizio di supporto psicologico o terapeutico, ma rappresentano un percorso di orientamento e accompagnamento centrato principalmente su due dimensioni: il percorso di studi e il progetto di vita della persona. L’obiettivo è aiutare studentesse e studenti a rileggere la propria esperienza universitaria, individuare con maggiore consapevolezza eventuali criticità e definire prospettive di crescita personale, formativa e professionale.

Una volta compilato il form dedicato, le studentesse e gli studenti saranno contattati dall’Ufficio Orientamento per concordare modalità e tempi del percorso e per valutare la coerenza della richiesta con il tipo di intervento proposto. The service was created to offer a structured space for discussion to those who feel the need to reflect on their university career and on the difficulties that may have emerged during their studies. In particular, it is aimed at students who:

• have doubts about the choice of the course of study or the continuation of the university course;
• they are experiencing a phase of stasis or disorientation;
• want to redefine their educational and professional goals in a way that is more consistent with their personal needs, values and aspirations.

The re-orientation interviews do not constitute a psychological or therapeutic support service, but represent a path of orientation and accompaniment focused mainly on two dimensions: the course of study and the person’s life project. The goal is to help students reread their university experience, identify any critical issues with greater awareness and define prospects for personal, educational and professional growth.

Once the dedicated form has been completed, students will be contacted by the Orientation Office to agree on the methods and times of the course and to assess the consistency of the request with the type of intervention proposed. La conferenza, che si terrà il 16 giugno, indaga cappelle e altari dell’età moderna attraverso un quadro teorico che concettualizza lo spazio sacro come un medium storicamente costituito, plasmato dalla convergenza di invenzione artistica, progettazione architettonica, azione liturgica e significazione teologica.

Riunendo prospettive interdisciplinari provenienti dalla storia dell’arte, dalla storia dell’architettura, dagli studi liturgici e dalla teologia, la conferenza esamina il modo in cui cappelle e altari furono progettati, costruiti e decorati in una dinamica articolazione con le pratiche liturgiche e i paradigmi teologici che ne governavano la concezione, l’uso e l’amministrazione istituzionale.

Lo studente Abtin Ariyafar ha ricevuto in data 11 maggio 2026 il Premio “MC Giaime” per la migliore tesi sul rap o altre musiche afroamericane, anno accademico 2024/2025 (seconda edizione).

Il titolo del suo lavoro, supervisionato dal prof. Alessandro Cosentino, è: 

MC Giaime Award was awarded on May 11, 2026, to Abtin Ariyafar for the best thesis on rap or other Afro-American music traditions, academic year 2024/2025 (second edition).
