CALL FOR PAPER – Re-Writing Morocco Poetics, Politics, Philosophy, and History in Multiple Forms

At the request of Dr. Mohammed Hashas, ​​co-organizer of the event, attached the Call for Paper for the event
“Re-Writing Morocco Poetics, Politics, Philosophy, and History in Multiple Forms”
which will be held in Rome on 21 and 22 November 2024.

 

A limited number of partial grants may be available to support young scholars, and scholars from disadvantaged contexts.
Applicants who fall into these categories and wish to be considered for the grant should send a short cover letter, besides their abstract and short bio, to explain their eligibility.

On April 23, 2024, from 17:00 to 18:00 p.m. (CET time), Tor Vergata University of Rome is pleased to invite you to the International Open Day, the event dedicated to the presentation of the English-taught degree courses offered by the Schools of Law, Economics, Engineering, Humanities, Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences, and Medicine and Surgery and the Foundation Course.

On this occasion, you will also learn about the specific requirements for admission to the above courses, tuition fees and scholarships, accommodation and how to enjoy your life in Rome. Dear students,

would you like to spend this summer in Berlin, meet new people from all over Europe and deepen your knowledge of industrial heritage and sustainability at the same time? Then our 14-day English-language summer school “Shaping Sustainability in Industrial Heritage” in August 2024 is just right for you!

We are looking for fresh and diverse perspectives from students from the fields of museology, cultural studies, history, public history, industrial archaeology, cultural and tourism management, architecture and urban planning, heritage conservation, sustainability, communication studies or similar degree programmes.

Why Berlin?
Industrial development has significantly shaped Berlin, and together with you we would like to explore the fascinating combination of industrial culture and sustainability.

What can you expect?
– New skills: Learn about intercultural communication and plan projects towards sustainable goals.
– Interdisciplinary: Exchange ideas with students from different disciplines and expand your horizons.
– International network: Become part of the Young Professional Network of the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH).

Application process: Apply via the HTW Berlin mobility portal. Once you have registered, complete the online application form. Have your certificate of matriculation, your grade transcript and your CV ready to upload. Here you can start directly.

Costs: All accepted applicants receive a scholarship from ERIH, which significantly reduces the participation fee. The total costs for a two-week stay in Berlin including accommodation, meals, public transport, cultural programme and materials is €360.

In 2001, UNESCO adopted the Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity and in December 2002, the UN General Assembly, in its resolution 57/249, declared May 21 to be the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, affirming culture’s contribution to the three dimensions of sustainable development, acknowledging further the natural and cultural diversity of the world, and recognizing that cultures and civilizations can contribute to, and are crucial enablers of, sustainable development.

The Single Guarantee Committee and the Welcome Office of Tor Vergata University of Rome, in order to celebrate this valuable and important day properly, are proposing to realize an online project. But we need your collaboration to make this beautiful day enjoyable while appreciating the cultural diversity surrounding us.
